Where Men Hurt was birthed out of the book “Overcoming The Addiction That No One Has”, written by the founder, Andrew J. Landry. A book topically about sex addiction, the story of the book is centered around Hope and Redemption.

The theme Scripture from which the book was written is Revelation 12:11: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

In his time of meditation, God revealed to Landry that as Christians we realize that the Blood never fails, the issue is the Word of our testimony that is lacking. Landry wrote the book about his struggle to overcome sex addiction.

He became more aware that men are not as transparent and vulnerable. Which is what it took for Landry to be healed and whole. This is where the Where Men Hurt was formed to make available opportunities for men to meet in a safe, nonjudgmental setting to discuss the issues of life, ultimately helping them to build relationships and find accountability partners to gain freedom.
